The Story

What if Jesus designed you as you on purpose?

Your story isn't random. The threads that seem disconnected—your talents, your weaknesses, your passions, your wounds—are being woven together by the Master Storyteller. You were made as you on purpose, in your unique context, for this particular moment in history. As you make your way along the Path of Jesus, you will travel through many seasons—seasons of growth, of preparation, or disappointment, of rest, and yes, seasons of suffering, too.

Tal probably would have written a different story—one that didn't include pain, confusion, and doubt. And yet we can see how God was using Tal's experiences, struggles, and strengths to weave together a larger story, a deeper destiny. This is one of the gospel's most challenging and mysterious truths: God can use everything—even our pain, even our mistakes, even our failures—to weave something beautiful.

Take a deep breath. Let it go. The God of the Universe has written down today long before you were born. You don't need to see the whole plan; none of us do this side of heaven. God knew about that recent setback and that surprise opportunity; he embedded those dreams and unique interests within you that you can't seem to shake. You are right on time for what he has planned. Listen to the Windsong of the Spirit, calling you to take the next step in the darkness, even when you don't know where it will all go.
