A Heart After God: Living From the Inside OutНамуна

In your walk with God, prayer is a powerful tool. You often bring your requests, desires, and dreams before the Lord, trusting Him to answer. However, have you considered the why behind your prayers? Are you asking from a heart aligned with God's will, or are you driven by self-centered desires?
It's best to always examine the motives behind your requests. Sometimes you may pray fervently for something, but do not receive it. This can lead to confusion or frustration. God is more concerned with the condition of your heart than with simply granting your every desire. When you ask amiss with selfish intentions or for personal gain, your prayers may go unanswered because they are disconnected from His perfect plan for your life.
God’s desire is that you pray with a heart fully surrendered to Him, seeking His will above your own. When you align your desires with His, your prayers will be answered in ways that glorify Him and lead to growth.
Think it Over
-Are there areas in your life where your prayers might be motivated by personal pleasure rather than a desire for God’s will?
-How can you shift your focus in prayer to align with God’s heart and purpose for your life?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me to check my heart before I come to You in prayer. I want my desires to align with Your will. Purify my motives and teach me to seek You first. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

About this Plan

Your heart is the wellspring of your thoughts, actions, and intentions. God cares deeply about its condition. In a world full of distractions and temptations, it's easy to let impurity take root. This plan invites you to pause and reflect, allowing God to reveal what’s hidden and purify what’s unclean.
