RETURN to ME: Reading With the People of God #16Намуна

A Closer Return
In today’s readings, we glimpse the heart of God—a heart that pursues, restores, and delights in His people. He speaks tenderly, inviting not just wayward hearts but all who belong to Him into deeper fellowship. His call to “return to Me” is not only for those who have strayed, but for all who desire renewed intimacy with their Lord.
We see this reflected in Jesus’ ministry as well—welcoming sinners, healing the broken, and calling even the religious to embrace the newness He brings. His presence disrupts stale routines and invites everyone to experience the joy of life with Him.
Wherever you find yourself today—whether weary, wandering, or walking closely—God’s invitation is the same: Come closer. Let your heart return again to the One who never left you and who always offers more of Himself.
What might returning to Him look like for you today—in trust, in love, in surrender?
About this Plan

This 16th installment of our Reading with the People of God plan invites you into the voices of the Minor Prophets—Hosea through Nahum—calling God’s people to return with sincerity and trust. Paired with the Gospel of Mark, we’ll hear Christ’s invitation to repentance and renewed faith. Each day includes readings from Psalms, the Old Testament, and the New Testament, with a brief devotional primer. May these readings draw you nearer to the Lord, awaken your heart to His mercy, and echo His faithful call: “Return to Me.”
