Sowing God's WordНамуна

A Great Act of Faith
You have chosen to accept God’s invitation to join Him in sowing the seed of His Word, which is a great act of faith! Today, we’re going to look into the Parable of the Sower and discover the heart behind our calling.
In Matthew 13, Jesus shares the Parable of the Sower. At first glance, it can feel discouraging to read about the seed that “fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up [or] were scorched and withered because they had no root” (Matthew 13:4, 6).
But we must remember that we are not responsible for the outcome—only for our obedience. We aren’t called to save people. We are invited to reach people and help them experience God’s Word. God does the rest.
When we show up faithfully and trust God with the outcome, He can do more than we could ever ask, think, or imagine.
In moments of weariness or when we don’t immediately see the fruit of our faithfulness, we need to remember why we started sowing in the first place: so that more people might experience the life-changing power of God’s Word.
We were all once waiting for God’s Word to be planted in our hearts. Now, through your generosity and obedience, others are experiencing that same hope in God’s Word. These aren’t just numbers or results. The people who receive God’s Word through your generosity are sons and daughters of God—just like you.
So be encouraged today: God sees your faithfulness and delights in how you’re choosing to trust Him.
Reflect and Respond:
Where is God asking you to plant new seeds, even if you can’t see the results right away?
Prayer:
God,
Thank You for all You have blessed me with. Everything I have is Yours. I trust You with it all because I am a steward of what You have given me. Keep my eyes and heart open and fixed on You, and help me remain radically generous for You and Your Kingdom.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
