Devotional (Teaching):

Good day and welcome to Day 2 of your journey to increasing your level of effectiveness.

Do you remember your favourite teacher? I remember this English teacher I had in my elementary school. She was cool. She had cookies in her class. Her class was usually fun because she would have toys and drawings to illustrate her lessons. We all just used to look forward to that class because she didn't just teach us English, she went above and beyond in bringing that class to life. She added value to us.

This was many years ago, and I still remember my amazing English teacher.

To increase your level of effectiveness, you have to add value to people. This means in everything you do, be the kind of person who improves the lives of others. Add value to your home, your friends, your children, and your community. Make someone’s life better just by being present.

• Take action today send an encouraging message, help a friend, or do something thoughtful.
