Jesus in His Own WordsНамуна

The Cure for Confusion
A few years ago, I was in San Diego with one of our campus pastors. We were supposed to be heading north… yet somehow, we ended up driving south toward Tijuana. I remember thinking, “How did we get so off course?” We laughed about it, but in the moment—it was stressful. There’s nothing quite like that unsettling feeling of being lost.
Maybe you’ve felt that way in life recently. You’re trying to find direction, but the road ahead is uncertain. In John 10:10 (NKJV), Jesus gives us a clear picture of who He is for us in moments like this: “I am the Good Shepherd.” He doesn’t leave us wandering. He knows us by name. He protects us from danger. He leads us step by step.
The truth is—many voices in the world are trying to lead us. Yet only one voice brings life, peace, and clarity. That’s the voice of the Good Shepherd. The more we learn to recognize His voice, the easier it becomes to follow Him through whatever we’re facing.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, unsure, or just in need of a little guidance—Jesus wants to meet you right where you are. Friend, as you listen to His voice, you’ll find your way.
As you engage with God’s Word:
● What is God saying to me?
● What does it mean to me?
● How can I apply what God is teaching me?
● How can I be specific in prayer today?
After you reflect on these questions, bring everything to God in prayer.

About this Plan

Over the years, I’ve heard all kinds of opinions about Jesus—but nothing is more powerful than hearing His own words. In the Gospel of John, Jesus makes seven bold “I Am” statements that have changed my life—and I believe they can change yours too. In this plan, I’ll walk you through each one and show how Jesus still meets our deepest needs today. Let’s discover Him together.
