When God Turns It Around: Hope for Hard TimesНамуна

PETER—FROM FAILURE TO FAITHFULNESS
Peter loved Jesus. He was bold and passionate. But when it mattered most, Peter failed. He denied even knowing Jesus—not once, but three times. Afterward, Peter wept bitterly. He felt like a complete failure.
But Jesus didn’t give up on Peter. After His resurrection, Jesus found Peter and gently restored him. He didn’t shame him. He asked Peter to reaffirm his love and called him to feed His sheep—to care for and lead others.
This is the gospel. We are not saved because we never fail. We are saved because Jesus is full of mercy. Our failures do not disqualify us when we come back to Him. In Christ, there is always a way back. He restores us and gives us new purpose.
Maybe you’ve messed up. Maybe you feel like you’ve failed too badly to be used by God. Hear this: Jesus is still calling you. He still has a plan for you. His grace is bigger than your worst moment.
PRAYER
Lord, thank You that my failures are not final. Help me receive Your forgiveness and walk forward in the calling You have for me.
REFLECTION
What failure do you need to bring to Jesus today?

About this Plan

Life can be full of hard times. Pain. Waiting. Loss. Failure. But the gospel shows us that God is never done with us. Through Jesus, broken things can be healed; lost causes can be redeemed; and even death can be defeated. In this plan, Pastor Mawuli Tsikata looks at real stories in the Bible where God stepped in. Each day will point to Jesus—the true and better turnaround we all need.
