Discovering Your CallingНамуна

We often assume that Purpose begins with doing something impressive that's seen by others, but when we look at the life of Moses, we see the opposite. Purpose didn’t find him in the spotlight; it found him in the desert.
If you remember the story of Moses' Calling, He wasn’t leading a crowd or performing miracles. He was in the wilderness, doing the same thing he’d been doing for years—tending sheep. During this time, God had seen him, and when the right moment came, the same desert Moses had been walking through became Holy Ground.
So, if you find yourself in an invisible place right now, don’t lose heart. God often speaks after we’ve stopped striving. His Voice breaks through when we’re quiet enough to listen. Before Moses received direction, he encountered the Presence of God. He didn’t chase a title. He simply stayed faithful to what was in front of him, and God met him there.
Many of us want clarity for our Calling, but we skip the most important step: being with God. His Presence is where Calling is discovered. Ambition might open doors in the world, but in the Kingdom, revelation flows from a relationship with Him. In other words, if you desire to know what God is calling you to do, first focus on being with Him, not just working for Him.
I encourage you to stay rooted. Keep showing up. The Burning Bush doesn’t come to those chasing fire. It comes to those who keep walking with God—one faithful step at a time.
Challenge: Spend 15 minutes today in stillness and worship—no agenda, just to be with God.
Let's Pray:
Lord, I want to know You and in You find who I am and what I am called to do. I lay down my desire for control and ask You to reveal what You’ve placed me on this Earth to do. Draw me closer to You, and let everything else flow from intimacy with You.
