A second chance
Jonah disobeyed, yet God still gave him another chance. What an incredible picture of grace! No matter how many times we fall short, God is willing to restore and use us again – when we repent.
Many of us struggle with feelings of failure, believing we have disqualified ourselves from God’s calling. But the Lord delights in fresh starts. Jonah’s first response to God was disobedience, but when given a second chance, he chose to obey. God does the same for us – He calls us again, offering a new opportunity to walk in His will.
Are you holding onto past mistakes, thinking it’s too late? God isn’t done with you yet. His grace extends beyond your failures. Will you step forward in obedience this time?
Prayer: Thank You, Lord, for second chances. I surrender my past mistakes and choose to walk in obedience today. Amen.

About this Plan

“Jonah’s story begins with a divine assignment – God calls him to Nineveh to preach repentance. But instead of obeying, Jonah runs.” (Running From God – Heidi Wysman). Is God calling you to do something scary? Maybe you’re feeling uncertain or unqualified? Be encouraged as you read about Jonah’s story and the faithfulness of God.
