DAY 4 OF 14

Planted to Produce: Unlocking Your God-Given Potential

Let’s kick off the week talking about growth, potential, and the legacy we’re meant to build.

Potential is only found in fruit. God placed the seed of the tree in the fruit. A fruit tree that does not produce fruit will never produce more trees. A fruitless fruit tree can look strong, tall, and full of leaves, but it has no legacy because it failed to reproduce the seed it received to create itself. The fruit of a leader grows on other people’s trees.

This thought speaks directly to us as leaders in business and life. It’s easy to focus on looking successful—growing tall, appearing strong, being busy—but the real measure of our success is the fruit we produce. Fruit is what carries the seed for future growth. Without fruit, no new trees, no new opportunities, no new life.

God designed us to produce, to reproduce, and to build a legacy that multiplies. But we need to remember that fruit comes only when we allow God to nurture and grow what He has placed within us. It’s not enough to just plant the seed—we also need to trust that God will bring the increase in His timing.

As Galatians 5:22-23 reminds us:

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”

In our Kingdom businesses, our fruit is not just about profits, but about producing godly attributes that reflect His character in everything we do. We plant the seeds of integrity, diligence, and kindness, and as we trust in God, He waters those seeds and brings them to fruition in the right season.

The challenge today is to stop trying to make it happen in your own strength. Remember, it’s God’s job to water and make things grow. When we try to do everything on our own, we limit the potential of what God can do through us. Instead, focus on planting the right seeds, cultivating a heart of obedience, and trusting Him to bring the harvest.

Let’s live and lead today in a way that produces lasting fruit. Be diligent in your work but always rest in the truth that God is in control of the growth. Let’s build legacies that multiply, not just for today, but for generations to come.

Today’s Challenge: Ask yourself, "Am I producing fruit that will last? Am I trusting God to water and grow what I’ve planted?"

Let’s lead with faith, purpose, and the understanding that true success is measured in the fruit we bear.
