The Shift: Part 2Намуна

Hearing the God's Voice
Have you ever tried to listen to directions in a noisy room? It’s hard to focus when there’s so much background noise. That’s often how life feels—distracted by social media, stressed by work or school, and bombarded by opinions. But the Holy Spirit speaks in a still, small voice (1 Kings 19:12), gently guiding you toward God’s best for your life.
The Israelites in Isaiah’s time had strayed from God and faced consequences because of their choices. Yet God promised them that if they returned to Him, He would guide them with clarity and direction. That same promise is true for you. The Spirit of God is always speaking—you just need to quiet the noise and tune in.
This verse was written during a turbulent time for Israel. They were looking to other nations for help instead of trusting God. Isaiah’s words reminded them that God’s voice was the only one they needed to follow.
Take five minutes today to sit in silence and ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you. Write down any thoughts, verses, or impressions you receive, and test them against scripture to confirm they’re from God.
