See Clearly: A Holy Week DevotionalНамуна

Good Friday: Darkness at Daytime
The world thought it was the end, but God was unveiling salvation.
Key Verse: “It was now about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour, while the sun’s light failed.” — Luke 23:44-45
As Jesus hung on the cross, darkness covered the land. To those watching, it seemed like the end—but they weren’t seeing clearly.
Sometimes, we experience seasons where God feels absent. But just as the sun’s light failed that day, only to shine again, so too does God’s purpose break through our darkest times. Just because we don’t see clearly doesn’t mean He isn’t at work.
Reflection Questions:
- Have you ever experienced a season where God seemed absent, only to realize later He was working?
- How does the cross remind you that God’s purposes are always greater than what we see?
