Prayer Initiative : RevelationНамуна

One day Jesus stood in the synagogue of his hometown, Nazareth, and the scroll of Isaiah was handed to Him to read. "The Spirit of the Lord is on me because He has anointed Me… "(Isaiah 61). When He finished reading and rolled up the scroll to hand it back to the attendant, the eyes of all in the synagogue were on Him. "Today Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing", Jesus told them. But they didn't understand: "Isn't it Joseph's son?" The more Jesus explained, the more furious they got, even to the point of being ready to throw Him off a cliff. They didn't recognize the Lamb of God.
In Revelation 5, at the right hand of Him Who sat on the throne, we see a unique scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. A mighty angel is proclaiming in a loud voice: "Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?" The scroll is so important, but there is no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth worthy to open it or even look inside. John weeps and weeps. Until he is pointed by one of the elders to the Lamb that looks slain. The Lamb is also the Lion of Judah and the Root of David.
The Lamb took the scroll from the right hand of Him Who sat on the throne. And when He had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell before the Lamb: "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because You were slain, and with Your blood You purchased for God people from every tribe and language and people and nation."
Take a moment to ponder on what you've read and respond to God in prayer.
