Remembering Who We Are in ChristНамуна

Walking in Your True Identity
God gave dreams to Joseph as a young man of who he would be one day. He lived according to that God-revealed identity, even in his darkest times. Sold into slavery, falsely accused of attempted rape, thrown into prison—Joseph didn’t let his circumstances define him. He didn’t walk like a slave or a prisoner but like a king. His identity was rooted in God’s vision of himself, not in his situation.
In prison, he interpreted dreams for others and helped run the prison successfully. He never let go of his God-given dream. In time, his steadfastness led him miraculously to rule Egypt, second only to Pharaoh.
What about you? Do you walk through life confident in who you are in God, or do circumstances sway you? Remember, your actual status isn’t in what you’re facing but in who God says you are. You are His child with a purpose and promise.
Today, ask yourself: How can embracing your identity in Christ change the way you handle life’s challenges?

About this Plan

The world defines us by our past, failures, and circumstances, but God calls us His own. This 5-day devotional will help you reclaim your identity in Christ. Through Scripture, you’ll see how God restores, strengthens, and calls His people into their true purpose. You are not what you’ve done—you are who He says you are: loved, chosen, and empowered. Each day will challenge you to see yourself as God sees you, step into His promises, and walk in confidence. It’s time to remember who you are—and live like it.
