Trust God
Ah, those tempting "Sale" signs in the city!
I wanted to quickly exchange something, but whoosh, I ended up going into a completely different store, simply because those "70% off" signs lured me in...
And there, right at the entrance, were black shorts! Not perfect, but good enough. I need black shorts!
When I went to hang them in my closet at home, I saw the black shorts I already had! Perfect black shorts! I had completely forgotten about them.
It immediately dawned on me that God had a lesson here for me…for us. When we think we need something to keep going, even in the small things of life, He provides for us. Or perhaps, we come to see that He has already provided. Because He says:
"The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the LORD lack no good thing. Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the LORD." (Psalm 34:10-11 NIV)
Trust God to keep you centered, focused on Him as you go about your days. Thank Him for what He has already done for you, as well as His continuing presence in your life as you move forward.
You are a miracle!
