Day 2: Quit Assuming the Worst
Friend, do you often think, “Something bad is going to happen”? It’s easy to believe that! This is one of my major struggles in life, especially when life feels hard. I often assume the worst will happen to me. But God’s plan for my life is good. And so is His plan for your life! Yes, there are struggles, but they are not the end of your story. In Jesus, your story is about hope, healing, and victory. Trust that God is working, even when you can’t see it. "And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." — Romans 8:28
Friend, what’s one area of your life where you expect bad things to happen? How can you remind yourself that God is in control?
Prayer:
God, sometimes I expect the worst. Help me to trust You and believe that You are working for my good. Amen.
You are a miracle.
