Sorry Not SorryНамуна

Have you ever sat in absolute silence? Like not one single sound can be heard? Well, if you ever find yourself in a laboratory in Minnesota, you can achieve that kind of silence. This laboratory has built an “anechoic” chamber, a place so quiet that you can hear the blink of your eye. To quiet all the voices buzzing around in your head and just sit in the stillness sounds peaceful, right? It’s a kind of peace where the small hurts and mean comments of the day melt away, and you can just be still and quiet with yourself. And honestly, who among us doesn’t need that? While we all may not have the opportunity to build an “anechoic” chamber in our houses, we can still access deep peace right where we are. How? By accessing the person of Jesus at work in our lives. He came to bring true peace—the kind of peace that covers all hurts and calms all pain. When we look to Him as our source of peace, we’ll never be left without it.
What would it look like for you to find peace in your life this week? Even if only for a few minutes, take time to sit in total silence and let the peace of Christ cover you as you still yourself before Him.

About this Plan

Forgiveness feels like something that we know we should do, but it isn’t always something we actually do. We all sometimes find it hard to live out forgiveness in our everyday lives. It’s hard to find a way to let go, but what if there is a way to let go and forgive? In this devotional, we’ll look at the way forgiveness can work in our lives to move us toward freedom for ourselves and others.
