21 Days of Prayer & Fasting: Lectio DivinaНамуна

Preparation: Today, you’ll be reading from Matthew 9:18-26. As you enter God’s presence, take some time to breathe and center yourself around Him.
Read: The first step is to read. As you read the passage the first time, pay attention to words or phrases that stick out to you and write those down.
Reflect: This time, reflect on the passage. As you read a second time, be aware of the emotions that rise in you as you listen and what character you relate to in the story.
Respond: Now respond. As you reread the passage, pay attention to the voice of the Lord. What is He saying, and what do you need to say in response?
Rest: Finally, rest in God's presence. Before you move on with your day, take a few minutes to meditate on the passage and what God is saying to you.
Pray: Take a moment to pray on your own or use this prayer as a guide:
Father, thank you for your presence. Thank you that your Word is active and alive. As I reflect, respond, and rest in you today, I pray that you speak to me. Give me clarity and wisdom, and be the center of my day. I love you. In Jesus' name, amen.
