DAY 5: COMMUNITY SUPPORT TO PRESS ON
Prayer Topic: Lift up the community, asking for grace to support one another and bear each other’s burdens.
We often think of pressing on as an individual effort, but Galatians 6:2 reminds us that we are not meant to carry our burdens alone. As believers, we are part of a larger community—one that is called to support, encourage, and help one another. The pressures of life can feel lighter when we share them with others. When we allow ourselves to be vulnerable, to admit that we need help, we open the door for God’s grace to flow through the hands and hearts of others. Likewise, when we offer our support to someone else, we fulfill the law of Christ, which is to love one another as He loved us. Whether you need help today or are in a position to help others, remember that community is a key part of pressing on. We were never meant to go it alone. Let’s be the hands and feet of Christ to one another, sharing both our joys and our burdens.
REFLECTION QUESTIONS:
- In what ways have you experienced or offered support within your community during challenging times?
- How can you be more open to asking for help or offering support to others who are struggling?
