Journey With Jesus 365Намуна

Mark 15:5 But Jesus yet answered nothing; so that Pilate marvelled.
Jesus responded to Pilate during His interrogation by remaining silent. At this moment, as many chief priests were accusing Jesus of various things, Pilate found himself puzzled by Jesus' silence.
There is profound power in silence. Have you ever found that your own words have gotten you into trouble? In times of distress or accusation, it may be wise to hold our tongues and trust in God's ultimate defense. Sometimes, not responding can speak louder than words.
Remember that God is our advocate. He promises to give us the right words when the time comes to speak. In moments of trial and tension, we can find peace in knowing that we don’t have to defend ourselves; our Lord will stand for us. Let us be encouraged to seek His wisdom in our responses and to embrace the strength found in silence.
