Living in Increase (Part 8) - Increase in WorshipНамуна

The Fear of the Lord
The Bible says that the “fear of the Lord is the beginning of all wisdom” (Proverbs 9:10). When we fear the Lord, we recognize His awesomeness and how much He is worthy of our praise. We understand that He is more intelligent than us, and we yield to His wisdom.
As we go about our daily lives, we should always take a moment to realize how great our God is. He is awesome, powerful, and worthy of praise! He is a close and personal friend, our everlasting Father, and the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
True and proper worship is when we live in a way that respects and honors God! We don’t run to our sin anymore out of honor to God. We seek first the Kingdom (Matthew 6:33) out of honor for God. While we know we’ll never be perfect and may mess up a lot, we are worshipping Him with holy fear and awe when we see God through this lens.
