Living in Increase (Part 7) - Increase in PrayerНамуна

Week 1: How to Pray
Prayer is a Direct Connect
This month, we will be discussing how to increase in Prayer. This week, our topic is Learning How to Pray. Matthew 7:7-8 refers to the constant connection we have to the Creator of the Universe. When we have an ongoing, uninterrupted conversation with God, our eyes and hearts begin to see things the way He sees them. He is always in the room with us. We can talk to Him during our meetings, when we are having dinner with friends, during an argument with someone, when faced with a decision, and when we wake and fall asleep. We don’t have to press a button or pay a monthly fee for this direct line to our Heavenly Father.
When we take advantage of this “direct line,” we gradually learn to trust Him to give us His Best, which is more than anything we could ever ask for or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). Most importantly, when we struggle with loving our neighbor, being judgmental, etc., we should be bold enough to come to Jesus and receive the Grace to live life the way He lived.
