Day 6: Putting God First in Your Desires
Aligning our desires with God’s will brings fulfillment beyond what we could achieve. Psalm 37:4 teaches us that when we delight in God, He shapes our desires to reflect His heart. This doesn’t mean He grants every wish; instead, He transforms our desires to align with His purpose, leading us to pursue things that bring true satisfaction.
To put God first in your desires, begin by examining your heart. Are there desires you hold onto that don’t align with God’s will? Invite God to reshape your heart, to choose what He desires, and to seek fulfillment in Him alone.
Prayer Focus:
Pray for a heart that aligns with God’s desires, trusting He knows what will truly fulfill you.
