A Year in Luke/ActsНамуна

In the devotions for last week we read from Isaiah 58 which talks about true fasting. From this, we see that even in the Old Testament the roots for what Jesus came to do were there. It seems to be in human nature for us to become more focused on the system than the heart. Jesus always went straight to the root of an issue in order to bring transformation.
Interestingly, Isaiah 58:13-14 also ends by talking about the Sabbath.
