You might imagine if you were in the position of Paul, it may be tempting to lie. Would it not be scary to stand before such powerful people knowing they “hold the keys” to your release? The thing is though, Paul had no reason to lie. He was not guilty - that was the whole point of him even having to stand before Agrippa, Paul stood in the truth of his testimony and the Gospel of Jesus. I encourage us today to sit in the vulnerability of Paul here - having faith to tell the truth and trust that the Lord would advocate on his behalf.
