If there was ever a warning to take heed, it should be Gamileil’s “but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them— in that case you may even be found fighting against God!” (Verse 39) That should be a persuasive enough argument for any of us to carefully consider our actions. But in this chapter in particular, this warning comes right after the testimony of Peter’s shadow healing the sick. We can be encouraged to know that in God’s Kingdom, there are obvious signs, such as healings, that assure us we are following in the will of Jesus.
