A Year in Luke/ActsНамуна

As Luke’s Gospel ends with Jesus ascending, the story is by no means over. It is to continue with the apostles as witnesses of all they have learned and seen from Jesus as disciples. They are to preach “repentance and forgiveness of sins.”
This is the theme we have seen play out in Luke’s Gospel time and time again. This is a revolutionary message because it means that anyone who humbly comes to Jesus can receive forgiveness and be accepted into His Kingdom Community.
Notice that even at this point the Temple is still the place where they go “continually” to worship God. Would the religious leaders finally accept the Way of Jesus and integrate it into Temple worship? We will see what happens in the Acts of the Apostles.
