A Year in Luke/ActsНамуна

Twice near the close of the chapter, similar things are noted about Jesus:
“The child grew and became strong, filled with wisdom; and the favor of God was upon him.” (v40)
“And Jesus increased in wisdom and in years, and in divine and human favor.” (v52)
Even from a young age, Jesus knew he needed to be with the Father. He is found in the temple after being lost, and his famous response was: “Did you not know that I must be in my Father’s house?” (v49)
Jesus was already cultivating such a relationship with God that he referred to God as “Father.” His relationship to the Father meant he grew in wisdom and divine and human favor.
Lord Jesus, as our shepherd, lead us in cultivating this relationship with the Father you demonstrated for us.
