God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 2)Намуна

James – Day 1
Throughout the New Testament, we are challenged to alter our view of hardship. We are consistently reminded that difficulties strengthen our faith and make us more like Jesus.
The sharing of this truth becomes even more powerful when we remember the majority of the New Testament was written to Christians enduring persecution. The original readers of James were facing much more than minor inconveniences or interpersonal issues. Despite this, James tells them to consider it a joy when they encounter trials, reminding them that trials help them become the people God created them to be. As you walk through hard seasons, be encouraged that there is joy to be found!
Today, thank the Lord for the Joy we can find only in Him, and ask Him to give you that Joy both in spite of and in light of your current struggles.
