Writing to Glorify God
Your writing is more than a craft—it is a ministry. Whatever you write, whether it’s fiction, non-fiction, or poetry, can reflect God’s character and share His truth. When you write with the mindset that it’s for God’s glory, your words have the potential to minister to the hearts of others.
This doesn’t mean your work has to be overtly religious, but it does mean that your values, your truth, and your love for God should shine through in everything you write. Writing for the Kingdom is about using your gift to serve others and bring glory to God.
Practical Application:
Are you writing from a heart that longs to glorify God? God will honour it. Do you desire to serve God’s Kingdom through your words? God will honour it. Ask Holy Spirit how your writing can touch lives and serve as a ministry tool. Write down what He shares with you.
Prayer:
Lord, I offer my writing to You as an act of worship and ministry. Use my words to reach those who need to hear Your truth and love. Help me to write with the understanding that my work is for Your glory and I am not writing in my own ability or strength.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
