Revive My Heart Намуна

Whatever He Says: Psalm 119:18, Psalm 25:4–5
A practice that’s made an enormous difference in my devotional life is that of beginning my time in the Word each day by praying words of Scripture back to the Lord. Scriptures like Psalm 119:18. Or Psalm 25:4–5:
Make your ways known to me, Lord; teach me your paths.
Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation;
I wait for you all day long.
As I pray this prayer, I’m committing to God that whatever He says to me through His Word I will obey. “Help me understand your instruction, and I will obey it and follow it with all my heart” (Psalm 119:34). I’m saying to God, “Whatever You say, whether I like it or not, whether it’s easy or not, by Your enabling grace and power, I will obey.”
Make It Personal:
Choose one of the above verses to pray before you read the Word today, and commit that whatever God says to you, you will obey.
