God is Eternal
Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. Psalm 90:2 (ESV).
God’s eternal nature means He exists outside of time - He has no beginning and no end. This truth offers profound peace. God has been in control since before creation, and His plans for us are secure in His timeless wisdom. The same God who has faithfully sustained the universe is also guiding your life. Trusting in His eternal nature allows us to live with confidence, knowing that His purpose for us will prevail, regardless of how our present circumstances may look.
How does knowing that God is eternal give you confidence in His plans for your life?
Prayer: Father God, Thank You for being the eternal God who transcends time and space. Help me trust Your perfect timing and plans, knowing that You see the beginning and the end. Grant me peace in knowing that You are always in control, from everlasting to everlasting. In Jesus' name, Amen.
