The Book of MarkНамуна

Everybody loves a good ending, right? We all want to know how a story ends when we’re invested in it. Throughout the Bible, people predict or give warnings about how the world as we know it will end, and in Mark 13 verse 4, the disciples asked Jesus directly when will the end come and how will they know. The rest of the chapter is Jesus explaining the signs and order in which things will happen, as well as several warnings.
Thinking about the end of the earth can be terrifying or intimidating, but when you read this passage, hone in on verse 31 - “Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear.”
Jesus & His words will never fade away. Despite whatever weird signs or scary situations are described in the end of times, Jesus is present the entire time. If the end times scare you, find peace knowing that everything else can fade away, but Jesus will be with you.
Question for today:
Do I trust Jesus to lead me through any and every situation that I enter?
Prayer:
Jesus, help me to trust You in the face of the unknown. Our world is crazy, and people say the end is near, but Your Word says “No man will know the time.” So Jesus, I want to trust You regardless of what I may face, end of times or not. I know You’ll never leave me, so help me to walk in boldness knowing that You will walk with me to the end of my days. Amen.
