The Unrecorded Miracles

Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book. John 20:30 (ESV).

Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. John 21:25 (ESV).

John concludes his Gospel by reminding us that Jesus did many other miracles that were not recorded. This verse invites us to live with an awareness of the countless ways Jesus works in our lives and the world, beyond what we can see or imagine. Every day, He continues to perform miracles, both great and small, that testify to His love and power.

How can you become more aware of and grateful for the everyday miracles Jesus performs in your life?

Prayer: Father God, Thank You for the countless miracles You have performed, many of which are unseen or unrecorded. Help me to recognize Your hand at work in my life each day and to live with a heart full of gratitude and wonder at Your boundless love. In Jesus name, Amen.
