Scripture Snapshots: A Brief Journey Through the BibleНамуна

Isaiah (Book 23/66) – A Book from a Major Prophet
The difference between major and minor prophets has more to do with their subject matter than their length. While major prophets are generally longer, their subject matter varies, emphasizing repentance, foretelling the coming of the Messiah, God's holiness, justice, and salvation through the Suffering Servant, Jesus. Isaiah’s prophecies of the coming Savior highlight God's plan for redemption and restoration through Christ.
These summaries are meant to help you understand the book, but so many historical and factual details were passed over in favor of brevity. This devotional plan is intended to give you a snapshot of the book and help you understand God’s redemptive plan throughout the Bible.
Key Sections: Isaiah 7:14, Isaiah 9:6-7, Isaiah 40:27-31, Isaiah 41:8-10, Isaiah 53:8-10.
