God's Redemption Story (The Church: Part 1 )Намуна

Acts: Week 3 – Day 4
The people of Athens were much like Americans today—they were always on the lookout for the next big thing. They loved to hear philosophers talk about the latest trends and the newest gods to worship. They even had an idol set up to “the unknown god” so they didn’t risk offending someone accidentally.
Sound familiar? The people around us search desperately for the meaning of life, things that should be worshipped, and even their own identity. And we all tip-toe around trying not to offend anyone else.
What people truly need, what Paul wasn’t afraid to talk about, is Jesus. Whatever side of the political aisle they sit on, whatever they like to do with their free time, and however they identify themselves, Jesus is the God they are looking for, the love that will heal their broken hearts. Will you share the Jesus you know with them?
