You too have a certain amount of influence, large or small, wherever you go. It takes guts to speak up for others, especially when you feel no one else is listening. It’s always easier, after all, to just stay silent. However, for those misunderstood, mistreated, poverty-stricken souls, your voice may be the only hope in sight. These opportunities aren’t just limited to social programs—everyone, including you, has an opportunity to change a life. When you speak for those who lack a voice, new friendships start to form, leading to new opportunities to share God’s life-changing message of salvation. That opportunity can change eternity for someone in need. Maybe that’s why you’re here—people need to know that God has sent help.
