Week 4: Sharing the NewsНамуна

In today’s culture, “sharing your faith” can feel daunting and even scary. We want our friends and family to know all that Jesus has done for them, but we hesitate out of fear of being judged as weird or narrow-minded.
If you relate with these feelings, you are certainly not alone. Sharing the Gospel has always been a challenge for believers. Just imagine being among the first disciples, who were constantly being persecuted for their testimony.
Despite the opposition they faced, they refused to remain silent. Their message was unstoppable because they found joy in their suffering; they were honored to share in every aspect of the new life they were given through Jesus.
Testifying about God’s faithfulness shouldn’t feel forced. Sharing your faith should flow out of a heart that is thankful to God and genuinely wants to share stories of the wonderful things God has done in our lives.
Today’s reading is a song of praise to the God of salvation, the God who keeps promises and delivers his people. This is the kind of response we should have when we think about the wonderful things God has done for us through Jesus.
