Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year OneНамуна

Meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains (Colossians 4:3).
Are you praying for opportunities to share the gospel?
Spirit-filled believers look for God's connections. They seek an open door to present the life-changing message of the gospel to the unsaved. Paul is under house arrest and has limited physical mobility. During another imprisonment, he writes, "for which I suffer trouble as an evildoer, even to the point of chains; but the word of God is not chained" (2 Timothy 2:9). Paul's understanding of the unfettered Word causes him to share with the saints at Thessalonica: "Pray for us, that the word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified" (2 Thessalonians 3:1). Boldly walk through the open door once God honors your prayers (1 Corinthians 16:8-9).
Employment Point: Pray for an open door and walk through it once God honors your request.
