So you’ve chosen to believe that Jesus came to Earth and died for our sins – now what? Colossians 3 gives us a list of qualities other people should see in you as a follower of Jesus:

You should be kind, humble, patient, and forgiving in the same way that Jesus forgave us – even when we didn’t deserve it! This won't always be easy, and God knows that we will make mistakes along the way, but he will keep forgiving us thanks to Jesus.

Matthew tells us to “go and make disciples.” That means we should seek out opportunities to share with others how Jesus has changed our lives and wants to change their lives too.

Baptism is a way to publicly share with others how Jesus has impacted your life. It shows other people that even though you aren’t perfect, you are fully loved and can live a life filled with hope and promise by a God who is!
