Mark - Living in the WordНамуна

VERSE OF THE DAY:
Those who had seen it told the people what had happened to the demon-possessed man—and told about the pigs as well. Then the people began to plead with Jesus to leave their region.
- Mark 5:16-17
REFLECTION:
- It was a great day for the man with demons.
- It was a bad day for the pig farmer.
- Helping one person doesn’t always equate to hurting someone else.
- Do we want the MIRACLE but not the results?
- Life with Jesus means accepting EVERYTHING.
- We don’t get to pick and choose.
JOURNAL POINTS:
- What area of your life have you been holding back from God?
- How do you respond when God wants to change the difficult things in your life?
- Have you ever asked Jesus to leave you alone (if not with words, then with actions)?

About this Plan

The Gospel of Mark is considered by some to be the most important of the “synoptic” gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), mainly because it was the earliest written. With brevity and urgency, John Mark describes the birth, life, work and teachings of Jesus Christ. Highlighted with action and vivid storytelling, this Gospel underscores the transformative power of faith and encourages us to remain steadfast in our commitment to Christ.
