Celebrating Your BaptismНамуна

In today's reading, John 11, we will see the fifth instance of Jesus saying, “I Am.” He approached Lazarus' tomb and declared, “I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying.”
As Jesus approaches the tomb, He begins to weep. Doesn’t that seem odd? Jesus, who knows everything, including that Lazarus would die, wept? The anguish that poured out of Him wasn’t just for Lazarus but for all of us. We weren’t made to pass away, but sin brought us death. He wept for every person who has ever grieved or lost someone. He wept for the human experience. He wept for you.
Is there a loss you’re lamenting or a pain you still need to give Him? He knows your pain, empathizes with you, and wants to help.
