Behold the Son of God
Jesus is the cornerstone and centre of our faith. The beautiful Son of God came to rescue us and draw us away from our self-destruction back into the arms of the Father. Father God shows the awe and honour owed to Jesus when His Word says ‘behold,' and then when He made a public declaration of His love for His Son.
When we behold Jesus, we live in awe and amazement of all He is doing. We behold how He works through situations. We behold His answer to our prayers. We behold His constant love towards us. If God’s heart is to honour Jesus, then for us to walk in obedience to God means to honour Him too, and everything He sacrificed for us.
Beholding Jesus may look different for you compared to how someone else might behold Him. The Holy Spirit ministers to us to highlight areas of growth and improvement for our hearts in order to purify the relationship between us and God.
The Holy Spirit will bring awareness to where you are struggling to behold Jesus in your daily walk and will help you come into the fullness of life with God.
