Deliverance From EvilНамуна

God Fights for His People
The Israelites could not have left Egypt or defeated their enemies in the wilderness without the mighty hand of God fighting for them. In fact, if God had not intervened, there probably would have never been a book in the Bible called Exodus to begin with. This is because it is God who does all the work.
When we surrender our lives to God and ask him to deliver us from whatever is keeping us in bondage, usually, we have already reached a breaking point where we realize we cannot get ourselves out of the situation we are facing on our own strength.
That's why when we give our lives to Christ, we acknowledge we are not perfect and admit we do not have everything figured out. Still, at the same time, we also accept the Lord’s grace is sufficient and perfected in our weaknesses, so we need not grow discouraged or dismayed.
Self-help techniques and willpower will only take us so far. Until we understand it is God who saves, transforms, and restores, we will keep investing our time and effort in short-lived “cures” that could never bring about true freedom.
