Deliverance From EvilНамуна

Protection in the Midst of Deliverance
For Israel, deliverance from Egypt was just the beginning of their journey to true freedom. In fact, a few chapters later, God would repeatedly harden the heart of Pharaoh and subject Egypt to 10 plagues.
Despite God telling Moses He would rescue his people, it did not happen overnight. In fact, every time Moses asked the Pharaoh to let his people go, God made the Egyptian king stubborn so that He could perform powerful signs that would cause his name to be revered throughout the nations.
Still, when God inflicted these plagues on the people and land of Egypt, He ensured the Israelites were not affected. Noticeably, in the midst of pestilence, famine, and plague, He kept his people safe and unharmed.
Even today, the God we serve is intentional, and his sovereign plan inspires every action he executes.
Breaking free from bondage is never easy, but we can rest assured when we put our faith in God and rely solely on his power, he will fight for us and shield us from the turmoil that may unfold around us as he breaks our bonds and sets us free from the things oppressing us. Therefore, once we follow God’s instructions, we have no need to be afraid.
