God's Redemption Story (The Prophets)Намуна

Jeremiah Week 2 – Day 4
The first half of Jeremiah 30 makes clear that Judah would suffer for their sin. They had disobeyed God and refused to return to Him,, despite His many warnings. But God also tells the people that His plan is not to destroy them completely. Punishment is the result of their sin, but His plan is for restoration.
That’s the same God who made a plan to restore us. Yes, we’ve all sinned. No, none of us is worthy to be noticed by God. But He loves us so much that he sent His Son to take our punishment and make a way for us to be with Him. Jeremiah was speaking to the people of his day, but the prophecy God gave him points to the way Jesus would one day save us all.
