Perfect Redemption: Easter Devotional for KidsНамуна

Jesus Predicts His Death
The disciples loved being with Jesus so much. They were shocked when he told them that he would suffer, die and then rise on the third day. Jesus rebuked Peter for disagreeing.
Jesus explained that it is God’s will for him to die for the sins of men. Jesus put his mind on the things of God and He taught his followers to care about the things of God more than their own interests.
Do you think more about the things of God? For example, praying every day even when we are tired. Or sharing our toys or resources with others who do not have enough.
As Jesus corrected Peter to think of things that make God happy, we must also learn from him. What are you willing to give up for the sake of Christ?
