Easter - Where It HappenedНамуна

Every state and every country has a range of different laws. It’s how everyone who lives or visits there knows what the rules are and what happens if you break them. The punishment for breaking the laws in your state or country might be a fine you must pay, points taken off your driving license, or even going to jail. The Bible talks about God’s rules. When we break God’s rules, it’s called sin, and just like there is punishment when we break the laws of a state or country, there’s punishment for breaking God’s rules.
Jesus took the punishment in our place for our sins. Jesus died on the cross and rose again for you and me and every person in the whole world.
A helicopter might be able to rescue you and lift you out of a valley, a boat might be able to save you from a deserted island, or a fire rescue team might be able to save you from a fire, but there is only one way you can be saved from sin. People might try all kinds of things to make sense of their lives and find peace, hope, and saving. People may turn to money, fame, good deeds, or other people. There is only one way to be saved, and that’s through Jesus.

About this Plan

The Bible is not a book of made-up stories; it’s about real people and real places, places we can still see today. As we journey through the places where Easter happened, we remember why Easter happened. We remember that Jesus is our Lord, Saviour, and Risen King.
