God’s Mercy and Love

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ - by grace you have been saved. Ephesians 2:4-5 (ESV).

God has taken the initiative and has demonstrated His love for us. God did this by extending His mercy and grace to us, through Jesus Christ. We were dead in our trespasses, but we have been made alive in Christ. We are saved by God’s grace. In what area could you respond to and receive God’s love, mercy and grace in your life today?

Prayer: Father God, Thank you for your love, mercy and grace. Thank you that even though I was dead in my trespasses that you have made me alive in Christ. Please help me to come to You today to receive your grace and love. In Jesus name, Amen.
