Everyday: Growing in FaithНамуна

Does reading the Bible really matter? The answer to that question is actually found in the Bible itself! When you read about the “Good News” in Scripture, you’re reading about the big message of the Bible. That Good News—the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus that made it possible for us to be close to God again—is the foundation of our faith. The more we learn about Jesus and what it means to follow Him, the more our faith will grow. And where is the best place to learn about it? The stories of Jesus we find in the Bible that are accounts of the real people who really lived and really experienced it all. Making reading the Bible a part of your everyday faith is a great step to help you grow closer to God!
Pick a time this week that you can start reading one of the books about Jesus’ life: Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John. Let it teach you a little more about the Good News of Jesus.
